Summer went by so fast and I was unable to keep writing while my children were on their summer break. I hope to continue blogging and posting more stories since my kids have started school. I started the blog as a way to tell my stories about my family which has also become my writing outlet. Storytelling has been a tool for me to express my thoughts and share with others about my journey in motherhood. It has not been easy as every family has their own unique challenges and ways to overcome the challenges of raising children in this society. No one knows the answer or the best way to parent or be a mother. I have picked up some tips and techniques along the way, always learning and striving in how to become a better mother. I share this under my parenting tab on Motherhood’s Bliss.
On the same note, I wanted to commemorate every occasion in our lives with milestones achieved and memories made. So this blog is actually a story of our lives. In truth, I try to focus on the positives and why it was called a “Positive Parenting Blog” in my first live Facebook interview with Jen Amos on the Filipino American Woman Project. I wanted to relate our experiences with a postive outlook or have at least my story may be helpful for another mom or dad to read through. Although motherhood and writing can be lonely businesses, I combine the two to make something positive for the world. My tagline for the blog, “Celebrating Motherhood and Life” is a main the reason that I blog. Life is a party and we should find occasions to celebrate and to revel in the happy moments and small triumphs because they are worth always celebrating.
In this modern era of technology, blogging is a form of storytelling and getting your stories and voices heard. I invite you to read my blog, to connect, and to see what is all about.
