You may be surprised but baby oil is not used only for soft skin, it is also an excellent chrome cleaner. Pour a couple of drops on a dry towel and polish all faucets and chrome surfaces in your house.
The tarnished kitchen utensils and any brass vessels can be cleaned with tomato ketchup. Pour a bit of ketchup on a clean rug and rub the darkened areas. After that rinse with water.
